Agriculture Equipment

Agriculture equipment is machinery utilized in agricultural or any farming activity. There are so many different types of this machinery, ranging from hand-operated power equipment and wheeled tools to tractors and the many other types of farm tools that they run or tow. Various types of agriculture equipment are utilized in both non-agricultural farming activities. They are mostly used for transportation, harvesting, and the process of planting, harvesting, and cultivation of crops and their products. In regions such as the United States, the increasing expansion of agricultural land has increased the usage of agriculture equipment. For instance, according to the United States Department of Agriculture, there are around 915 million acres of agricultural land in the United States.

The major Agriculture Equipment utilized in agricultural farming is the tractor. Tractors are very important equipment because they are capable of moving very heavy loads. They are also capable of operating at very low speeds so that they can work effectively. These agriculture equipment are very useful because they save much labor and manpower when compared to the other kinds of equipment and manpower employed in the agricultural farming field. They are also capable of doing the job efficiently because of the tractors' ability to maneuver and move heavy loads. This agriculture equipment also has very powerful engines which enable them to work even in cold weather conditions. Their tires have strong treads so that they can easily negotiate difficult terrain.

Tractors are very heavy agriculture equipment but are also very durable so that it does not become easily damaged by heavy objects. This equipment is usually driven by motor vehicles like four-wheelers. However, they are available with smaller engines. They may be driven by a bicycle or a mule. The tractor has two different parts namely the cab and the frame. The cab is the one where the driver sits while the frame is the one where the tractor is lifted. The other parts of the tractor are its engine, the drive mechanism, the transmission, and the various accessories such as attachments and sprockets. The most essential accessory used in the tractor is the skid steer and the ballast.
